i got
maney which you had send 10000 euro indai rupes 6.79.422
and due to election there is no level working at school due
to that reason i managed that work do after one week. here i
will demend the {rod, cement,timber ,stone}further
informatin i send anether e mail and also send the photo

Above is the message we received from
Sikkim acknowledging the money we sent end March.
It gives me a wonderful feeling to let
you all know that the activities have started concerning the
building of the school in Sree Bedam, Sikkim.
The process started with the Lamas
praying to the protectors for their blessing for a
successful building of the school.
From the photos you can tell that they
had to burn down the vegetation and level the ground before
building could start. In the mean time rods, cement, timber
and stone have been ordered.
As we get further information, we will
insert it onto the webpage so please access the site for
future developments.
Thanks for all your support – without
your help we would not be able to have this happen.

On the 7th July 2009 I
finally received more information concerning the
developments of the building of the school. Lama Tashi, who
is in charge of the operation, explained that work had
stopped pending approval from the government to use their
roads to get to the school building site. Verbal permission
has now been granted and work has resumed, the crew did have
difficulty leveling the ground but thanks to tractors the
problem has been resolved . He hopes the school will be
built within in 8-9 months - depending on the monsoon
season; If it rains heavily then work must be stopped which
wil result in a longer build.
